Well, that's one way to think about it.
Nate: Huh?
Rose: Don't get me wrong, I thought we connected. I just don't really do the R-word.
Nate: Uh, what did you just call me?
Rose: R-word as in RELATIONSHIP. They don't work out for me.
Rose: You share your whole-ass life with somebody, but one way or another, it's going to end in heartbreak.
Rose: So I just deconstruct the whole concept. If you want sex, just find somebody to bang. If love is what you want, that's what friends and family are for. Simple!
Nate (scratching his head): I feel like that's brilliant, but also sort of naive?
Rose (teasing, crawling toward Nate): It's next level thinking. Maybe you're just not ready for it yet.

Probably throwing a rant here, but that doesn’t work in the long run. I would know, of all people.
I can’t be intimate anymore. I have severe trust issues and random sexual encounters feel empty and very unsatisfying. Also, not in a good place emotionally and mentally.
