I’m curious as to how Miranda managed to get out of that position? One minute Tracy was on top the next Miranda was behind her. Did she slip out? Was Tracy partially bucked off?
She slipped between Tracy’s legs. Note hand positioning in the second panel, and the fact that she’s already moved forward a bit.
I also just edited the motion lines above Miranda to make them less lazy. Hopefully that helps.
I thought those were “angry lines”. Those lines that anime characters get around them and the background changes when they get really angry.
Yeah, I have employed that kind of technique before, but in this case the actual background didn’t change. I suppose I should settle on a method of communicating motion.
Motion lines that all go in the same direction instead of radiating would probably help:)
That and the jello makes very slippery too, now I want to see some serious jello wrestling going on with tops a flying and bottoms a ripping, and waiting on Rose’s Mom to fall into the pool now too, or Rose herself tring to win her man back.

Miranda just gets hotter to me, while Tracey keeps negating the appeal of even her own unfortunately shapely body the more she talks.
I’m in the opposite boat with Tracey. With everything she says I like her more and more. I’m not fond of the racism, but she says it with such joy and happiness that it’s funnier each time. Why yes, I have problems.
I like to cheer the bad guy. While you hiss, I’m hooting for them. You rage at the screen for their every antic, I laugh. I don’t like the people in real life that pull the same junk, but a fictional character doing it let’s me enjoy their actions as a release, and the worse they act, the more enjoyable their comupence. Especially when they’re so over the top like Tracey is.
I want Tracey to win the battle but lose the war. To have her do a victory lap around the pool swinging her and Miranda’s tops over her head, and then not get fired. Why? Cause of cruel mercy. She keeps her job but has to deal with demotions, the hatred of coworkers and to see Rose walk away with Nate. (I don’t think Miranda should get him either.) Firing her is too easy when you can crush her dreams.
Kind of hard to tell since it all happened in between the panels but whatever Miranda just did I’m guessing it was faster than an angry luchadore and about to get slightly less pleasant.
you know, this comic actually helped me through a relationship that inevitably ended horribly, but uh, i must say it keeps me very entertained and although i’m curious to see how the story advances, this arc on the beach party has gotten me reading at the crack of 1:30 every morning, [PST]
